Little visitor identified....

Hello,
I'm very pleased to discover my little visitor is not a rat after all
but
surprise, surprise
he/she is a large rabbit!

I have never heard of a rabbit getting into a wall via under sink plumbing pipes.
But it has.

The door is now wide open with fresh water, a carrot and some greens nearby to tempt it.

I have not seen it myself but Lovely Husband spotted it through the window when it snuck out it's little hidey hole for a wee.

I shall be relieved to put my studio back to normal soon..... I hope....

Do you like a giveaway? What a silly question, I hear you say....
If you pop over to Mary Jane's Tearoom all will be revealed.
Oh, and such lovely things she is giving away.....
Do go see!
And if you win due to my prompt I would love to know :-)

I put the giveaway image on my side bar and that too should link you straight over to her blog.

So.....have you had a peek? Exciting isn't it? I think they are 'very me', so I'd love to win.... I feel very cheeky saying that and rather greedy too....
But....you have to be in to win :-)

This is one of my neighbours.  She/he looks lovely at this time of year surrounded by wild flowers, don't you think?

Toodly pip xxx

  1. I read both your visitor posts one after the other ( I do get behind with visiting from time to time) and I'm really glad it's a rabbit and not something worse. I would agree it's very unusual for a rabbit to set up home this way and I hope she/he is tempted by the offerings you have left by the door :-)

    1. Hi Linda, yes it is so easy to get behind with reading blogs isn't it? I try to read my feed everyday but......

I do hope the rabbit is ok; we don't know if it is gone our not yet. We've placed food and water in the studio just case it's still there.
I shall get up very early to see if anything has moved or any puddles appeared and open the door again.
Poor thing I feel really badly for it.
      Thanks for your comment :-)

    1. Hi Josie, thanks for your comment :-) ...yes it would lovely but I assure you that a tame rabbit would be much better option than our wild one! The poor creature has created a great deal of mess and some damage.
I do hope for a happy outcome for it and that it is safe back with it's colony.

    1. Sorry Linda, I thought I had responded to your comment. I do hope your hedgehog is still there...I would have thought it would have woken by now. Maybe she is under the compost heap feeding babies.

  5. Oh poor wee rabbit, I hope she/he decides to come out and go home soon! But they can be troublesome too, so I hope she turns out to be sensible about this situation!
I do like your angel in among the wildflowers Tracey! I also quickly spotted a sweet mandala in your previous post - I am still playing catch-up since my time away so am rushing a bit but did want to say hello!
    Love, Joy xo

  8. Poor rabbit, I hope it is tempted out by the carrot! I'd rather have a rabbit than a rat lurking in the pipes any day. I hope you had a great Easter. x
